Before we leave! The Black streaks are the start of moss growth on the roof thus by treating the roof before it gets to the moss stage keeps the roof healthier and gets rid of the black streaks before they turn into moss which takes time to remove.
The moss can take around 6-8 months to completely come off of the roof. The moss however is killed instantly, you can tell its dead because it will turn white right after it has been treated. After the roof has been treated all organic growth will be killed on the roof, therefore stopping any damage.
